Known from coniferous forests of northern California, Oregon, and Washington. Rare.
Unknown.
Ramaria maculatipes is rare. It is characterized by its peach colored branches with yellow tips, vinaceous stains or bruises on stipe, slow amyloid reaction of the stipe context, and clamped basidia.
