    Nice showing by the prince there. The highest-ranked LBM looks like #18 — I wonder how people usually find that link?

    The last time I checked the top 100 the Stropharia was also there.

    Number one is usually Amanita muscaria, but I guess Boletus edulis pushed to the top since November is porcini season here in coastal California.

    Number one: Boletus edulis, I think is better known as “penny bun”. We call it “vargánya” and it is very often eaten in Hungary as well (even put in our stew).
